Charles Leclerc was given a 20-second time penalty by the Miami Grand Prix stewards, causing Ferrari to fall to eighth place. Despite spinning and hitting a wall on the final lap, Leclerc continued with a damaged car that couldn’t turn right. His multiple track excursions on right-handed corners were deemed unjustifiable by the stewards, resulting in the penalty. This demotion pushed Leclerc to eighth place, elevating Lewis Hamilton to sixth and Franco Colapinto to seventh.
